General information:

Sinomer® AAEMA is a methacrylic acid monomer used in the synthesis of high solids liquid acrylic resins and low VOC acrylic emulsions for industrial and architectural coatings.Sinomer® AAEMA can replace N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide, diacetone acrylamide, HEMA, etc., with better reaction control and better product performance.

Features:

• Used in low VOC solvent-based coating resins to reduce their viscosity.
• Improve the elasticity and toughness of the coating and reduce the glass transition temperature.
• Excellent elasticity and corrosion resistance.
• React with common crosslinkers, such as melamine and isocyanate.
• Film formation at room temperature, no isocyanate crosslinking, through Michael addition reaction, the enamine structure can react with aldehydes and hydrazides.
• Improve the adhesion to the metal layer by integrating metal ions through chelation.
• Excellent adhesion in humid environments
